A Life Rooted in Service and Rural Missouri

Tara Hallmark is a small business owner and operator  of a Peach Orchard, and public servant shaped by the realities of rural Missouri. Living and working in the heart of central Missouri, she understands what it means to balance rising costs, limited access to healthcare, and the responsibility of building a stable future for family and community.

As a peach orchard owner and military spouse, Tara’s life reflects the same challenges and values shared across Miller County and Pulaski County—hard work, resilience, and neighbors who show up for one another when systems fall short.

with a strong background in community service , proud wife of a veteran, Tara is able to deliver the stability, service and strong support systems for the unique nuances of rural military communities in a rural Mid West

She is running for one simple reason:
No family should be overlooked because of where they live.

Tara is devoted to public service and has valuable experience in challenging environments. As the first woman in her family to serve in the Navy, she developed a strong sense of discipline that shapes her community efforts. With over ten years at FEMA, she managed disaster funding and provided guidance to leaders. Her involvement in over 20 federally declared disasters has highlighted the crucial role that decisions play in recovery.
