Meet Tara
I'm Tara Hallmark, and I'm running to serve Missouri House District 124
Like many families in Miller and Pulaski counties, I understand both the opportunities and the challenges of building a life in a rural community. Common life is working, paying bills, supporting a family, adapting when circumstances change, learning from experience, and continuing forward.
I joined and served honorably during peace time in the United States Navy after high school. Shortly, I became a proud military wife and mother. Our little family, like many military, and retired households; started with little and faced difficult times.
After 22 plus years, my beloved retired soldier deserves the best.
Everyone outside my front door does too.
My professional experience has included public service, emergency management, public safety, disaster recovery, grants, instruction, agriculture, and small business. I have worked with public funds, community needs, regulations, agencies, and people facing difficult circumstances.
My beliefs are straightforward:
Rural Missouri deserves a strong voice in every decision that affects our future.
Public trust requires careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars preparation, planning and mitigation.
Government should serve the people—not the other way around.
Rural Missouri deserves a strong voice in every decision that affects our future.
I am ready to put my experience to work for all in District 124.
Committed to service. Ready to work for our communities.
