Tara’s perspective comes from working, adapting, military family life, supporting a household, paying bills, building a career, learning from experience, and continuing to serve others. Her background includes work across federal, military, state, and local public service systems. Her experience includes emergency management, disaster recovery, public safety, instruction, agriculture, and small business. Those experiences shaped her belief in practical stewardship, equal treatment, and accountable public service. She believes representation should be neighbor-first, service-first, practical, balanced, and accountable. No one should be overlooked no matter where they live.
